Exciting News….. LCCC’s Art Kit pick-up room has been made permanent programming!
You can come in ANYTIME Thursdays through Sundays, 10 to 4pm and pick up free DIY Art projects for kids and families (or anyone that wants to try one).
Each week our amazing art kit volunteers make new kits and usually the ARt Kit room is stocked with about 8 different projects for a variety of ages and preferences. Each is labled with contents, suggested age and suggested donation (optional).
LCCC started this program during the Covid19 lockdown of 2020 and to date has given out nearly 13,000 art kits throughout our community with the aim to keep our youth creative and give some art relief to families. We hope you enjoy this program.
Art Camp
Calling young artists! This ART Day Camp is designed to keep kids busy with artistic activities that develop their creativity, curiosity and problem solving skills. The day will be broken up into 5 parts. Mornings will start with multiple table activities and crafts so that campers can choose what they want to start off doing. Then, we will work on a permanent mural on a wall by the auditorium entrance and outside on the sidewalk. Lunch time will be from 12:00 to 12:30. Each day we will work on developing a story and illustration to make a book about how the new Pete Beeman sculpture arrived at LCCC. We will have an afternoon outside game time, and the final hour will be devoted to the making of an Outdoor Nature Museum. Reserve your young artist’s spot now, only 16 spots available!

Fee: Camp fee= $85 per youth, plus $15 materials fee
