2023/24 Celtic Series

The Lincoln City Cultural Center is proud to present the 2023-24 Celtic Music Series. This year’s lineup offers eight concerts, one per month, from September 2023 through April 2024. Featuring bands from Scotland, Ireland, Italy and the United States, this series brings dynamic new sounds and genre favorites to play on our welcoming Cultural Center stage.

Full season (8 concert) subscriptions, which provide a 25% discount and the best in reserved seats, will be on sale through Sept. 27. Limited subscriptions (choose 5, 6 or 7 shows) receive a 15% discount, available through the Dec. 5 concert with The Gothard Sisters.

Celtic series concerts take place at the Cultural Center, with a mixture of evening shows and matinees. Reserved ticket prices range from $20-$35, with discounts for seniors, students and youth under the age of 18.

Abigail from Heron Valley

Heron Valley

This year’s series opens with an energy-filled quintet from Scotland, Heron Valley. Their roots lie in traditional music, including Scots song, Scottish piping and Irish banjo.

A new Celtgrass project created by four experienced musicians in the Irish trad and European folk/rock season. This quartet from Italy rocks a strings-only sound with a hint of electronics.

On the Lash

On the Lash brings an original voice to Irish traditional music, with a quartet of guitar, mandolin, flute, fiddle and voice. “Amazing vocal harmonies, pin-point musicianship and a diverse set list with broad appeal.”

The Gothard Sisters

Celebrate the beginning of the holiday season with internationally acclaimed Celtic folk group The Gothard Sisters. The three sisters present a high-energy, festive evening weaving together Christmas carols, Celtic tunes and songs, Irish dancing and more. Great for the whole family – a perfect Christmas tradition!

Swirling border pipes, raging fiddle, thunderous guitar and three rich voices blend to create a sound energetic enough to tear the roof off. Echoes of trad music from the 1960s and 70s, infused with funk, metal, bluegrass, swing, and even klezmer.

Le Vent du Nord

Le Vent du Nord

The award winning and highly acclaimed band Le Vent du Nord are a leading force in Québec’s exciting and progressive Francophone folk movement. Back at the Cultural Center by popular demand!

“The hottest Irish acoustic band on the planet” (Irish Echo). Named for an ancient Celtic harvest festival in honor of the Irish god Lugh, Lúnasa was formed in 1997 from members of some of the greatest Irish groups of the previous decade.

Heron Valley


Securely ranked among Scotland’s most skilled and imaginative contemporary folk acts, Breabach unite deep roots in Highland and Island tradition with the innovative Scottish music scene. 2022 saw them release their latest studio album ‘Fàs’ and be awarded ‘Folk Band of the Year’ at the Scots Trad Music Awards.
