The Grand Bazaar - A Benefit Bash

Lincoln City, OR  –  Lincoln City Cultural Center announces The Grand Bazaar, a Cultural Center fundraiser like you’ve never seen before! On Saturday, May 3rd, from 5:30 – 8 PM, sample Mediterranean dishes prepared by Chef Donna Riani, enjoy live entertainment and shop the stalls for imported and one-of-a-kind treasures, all to benefit the Center and their new acquisition of a Yamaha grand piano. Your $50 ticket includes food, wine, entertainment and exclusive first chance at the treasures of The Grand Bazaar.

Step into the magic of The Grand Bazaar. This unforgettable evening will transport guests to the heart of Turkey, offering an enchanting blend of culture, cuisine, and entertainment. Guests can wander through a vibrant marketplace featuring authentic handcrafted goods such as Turkish textiles, exquisite rugs, jewelry, ceramics, and more. Mediterranean-inspired appetizers will tantalize the taste buds, while mesmerizing performances by traditional dancers from the region will bring the spirit of the Grand Bazaar to life. “We want to create an immersive cultural experience that not only delights our guests but also supports an important cause,” said Niki Price, Executive Director. “The Grand Bazaar is a place of connection, trade, and tradition, and we are excited to bring that energy to Lincoln City Cultural Center for a night of giving back.”


Enter to win: The Grand Bazaar will also have a 50/50 Raffle with THREE incredible prizes this year. You could win up to $4,687.50 in cash, dinner for two at The Bay House ($300 value), or a 2024 Finders Keeper glass float ($100 value). Tickets are $25 each or 5/$100 and can be purchased in-person or by calling the center at (541) 994-9994. Only 375 tickets will be sold. You need not be present to win. The raffle drawing will take place at 3 PM on Sunday, May 4th at Cultural Center.


The Grand Bazaar is a part of full weekend of events:

  • Hear the Yamaha C3 in action! This inaugural celebration of the Cultural Center’s new grand piano will include performances by composer Jasnam Daya Singh AND jazz pianist David Morgenroth (with bassist Bob Bowman). Reserved seats are $30. Doors open at 6:30 PM on Friday, May 2.
  • Come back for more on Sunday, May 4th when the Bazaar will be open 10 AM – 3 PM, along with the opening day of the outdoor Sunday Market. Sunday admission to the Bazaar is free and open to the public.


A portion of the sales from imported carpets and kilims, and other goods in the Bazaar will also benefit local business owner and Cultural Center friend, Julie Reynolds Otrugman of the Kelp Bed.
