Summer Art Camp

Calling young artists! This Summer Art Day Camp is designed to keep kids busy with artistic activities that develop their creativity, curiosity, and problem solving skills.

Mornings will start with self-guided stations of activities and crafts so that campers can choose what they want to start off working on. We will also be making paintings that will be framed for a show at the end of the week, printmaking, stop motion animation, embroidery and stuffy making, and much more. Lunch time will be from 12 to 12:30 and then each day we will work on developing a story and illustration to make a book about how the Gerry the Octopus sculpture arrived at LCCC. Around 2 each day we will walk to the lake on the nature trail just east of the LCCC parking lot and collect items for more art making.

The camp takes place over five days, Monday through Friday from 10am to 3pm. Campers should choose one week or the other, but not both. We are expanding to accommodate more young artists.

Art Camp Info

Location: the Lincoln City Cultural Center (Maker's Space Workshop)

Time: 10am to 3pm each day, Mon. through Fri.

Ages: 7 through 13 years old

Fee: Camp fee is $85 per youth, plus $15 materials fee.

Total $100 per camper per week (80% scholarships available).

Required: Campers need to bring packed lunches and water bottles.
