Sunday Ceramics with Ally

Have you ever wanted to create your own handmade mug, bowl, or plate? Join us at the Ceramics Studio in the basement for a beginner-friendly, guided ceramics project! This is a one-day class in which we will create pieces that will be returned to you within 2-3 weeks.
Note: This is not a pottery wheel class.

When: Most Sundays

Time: 1:00-4:00 PM(class lengths vary depending on project but are typically 2-4 hours)

Cost: $30

Cancellation Policy: You may cancel with a full refund until the Wednesday before class.

We may cancel a class on the Saturday before if fewer than 4 students are enrolled. In which case, you will receive a full refund.

Glazing Techniques for Ceramics

Discover the joy of working with clay in the lively, welcoming ceramics studio at the Lincoln City Cultural Center. In this hands-on course, students will design and create a series of hand-built vessels—such as tumblers, asymmetrical plates, or rice bowls—while learning fundamental design principles and surface decoration techniques. Through sketching thumbnail designs and experimenting with texture, shape, and color, students will explore creative expression using the tools and glazes available in the studio. No prior ceramics experience is required—just a willingness to get your hands dirty and have fun.
