About our venue

Interested in performing at the Lincoln City Cultural Center? Here are some the particulars of our venue.

Our concerts take place on a raised stage that is 24 feet wide and 16 feet deep, with basic lights and sound systems that are operated by a volunteer technical director. The house is a 55' x 40' multi-purpose auditorium with a flat floor, with chairs that are  We have a 5-foot Baldwin M2 that is available for artist use. Small jazz combos usually mic the piano, guitar and bass, along with vocals; sometimes, acoustic ensembles use only a vocal mic, and they sound great.

All bands who play at the LCCC need to be conscious of the space — it’s a bit like an old church — and come to Lincoln City with the understanding that we are a small house in a small town, and that everyone must be flexible to keep our concert program afloat.

Concert audiences range from 30 to 150, and our ticket prices are generally $20-$35. Our most popular genres are Celtic, jazz and Americana, although our audiences are receptive to all kinds of unusual genres or new experiences. We also have outreach connections in our local schools, so if you have a great elementary, middle or high school program that can be added, let us know.

Lincoln City is an oceanfront community of 10,000 about 2.5 hours from Portland, 1 hour from Salem, 3 hours from Eugene/Springfield, 20 minutes from Newport (although we would prefer that touring bands choose not to play in Newport, as we share the audience). We can sometimes offer lodging, donated by our large community of hotels, motels and vacation rentals. However, due to prevailing rates most summer bookings (July and August) do NOT include lodging.

Merchandise sales are allowed, with 100% going to the artist. Our audiences enjoy a mid-week concert, so the LCCC can help performers fill in the gaps of a West Coast tour.

The Cultural Center offers full presentation (booking, meals and lodging) to an average of two ensembles per month. Self-produced concerts, in which the Center offers more limited support in exchange for a percentage of the ticket sales, can be arranged. Please send inquiries via email to the LCCC’s executive director Niki Price, niki@lc-cc.org.
