This exhibit features new work by acclaimed northwestern artist, Monica Setziol-Phillips and a group of her woodcarving students.

In the Spring of 2024 a group of former Sitka carving workshop students came together and with their instructor, Monica Setziol-Phillips formed The Carvers’ Collective to help and nourish their pursuits in woodcarving. In addition to Monica’s paper cut illustrations of folk tales this exhibit will feature works by of up to 10 members of the Collective including Monica.
