No Shrinking Violets: Group Exhibit By High Fiber Diet
Friday, October 9 2020 @ 10AM
High Fiber Diet is a group of Northwest fiber artists committed to advancing their art by challenging themselves to new and evocative themes for juried, traveling, group exhibits. They push design and media norms and meet regularly for inspiration. This show is a visual and tactile nudge toward a heated national mood.
Purple is passionate, opulent, over-the-top, regal, assertive, luxurious, mysterious, expensive, and fantastical. It’s the color of women’s suffrage, Roman emperors, noble sacrifice in battle, as well as the color of princes and wizards. Don’t be a shrinking violet.
In lieu of a public reception, we’re offering a live virtual gallery tour. It will be posted at 4 pm on Friday, Oct. 9, and available for viewing at any time on our Facebook Page, @lincolncityculture
The exhibit will remain on display through Sunday, Nov. 8, open 10 am to 4 pm Thursday-Sunday, and by appointment.
