Comprised of a series of interrelated scenes, Wendy Wasserstein’s “The Heidi Chronicles” traces the coming of age of Heidi Holland, a successful art historian, as she tries to find her bearings in a rapidly changing world. Gradually distancing herself from her friends, she watches them move from the idealism and political radicalism of their college years through militant feminism and, eventually back to the materialism that they had sought to reject in the first place. This moving play won the Pulitzer Prize in 1989, and is seeing its coast debut thanks to Theatre West. Directed for the LCCC stage by Bryan Kirsch. 7:30 pm Thursday, Friday and Saturday, May 9 through June 1 at the Lincoln City Cultural Center.
