The “I Love Lucille” Brunch & Art Sale
Saturday, February 15 2020 @ 10:00 am
On Valentine’s Day weekend, the LCCC will be honoring the generous heart of a most beloved patron: Lucille Bacon. The well-read, engaging, funny and cultured Lucille passed away last June at the age of 91, leaving her estate to animal charities and her art collection to the LCCC. Our tribute will begin with brunch at 10 am on Saturday, Feb. 15; Chef Colleen Hickey’s menu will honor Lucille’s gourmet taste and later conversion to a vegan diet. Your $30 ticket includes coffee, and “first dibs” on the items in the “I Love Lucille” Art Sale, featuring Lucille’s lovely collection of original paintings, prints, ceramics, rugs and other decor. There will also be a time for sharing of memories and loving thoughts of our Lucille. Mimosas, wine and champagne will be sold separately. The sale will be open to the public from 1-5 pm Saturday, and from 9 am to 5 pm Sunday and Monday, Feb. 16 and Feb. 17. All proceeds will go to the operations of the Cultural Center.
