Sunday, March 15 2020 @ 9:00 am

COVID-19 UPDATE: This wonderful exhibit can be enjoyed while using the recommended 3-foot “social distance” measures. Our patrons are invited to visit the Chessman Gallery, solo or in small groups, from 9 am to 5 pm, Thursday through Monday. If you would like to ensure a private viewing, please call ahead: 541-994-9994. Thank you!

This year’s creative work by the kindergarten-8th-grade students of Lincoln City’s St. James Santiago School form this lively and eclectic show. Teachers at the non-profit elementary know the creative arts are fundamental to learning, so they integrate the visual, musical and dramatic arts across the school curriculum. Drawing from studies in science, literacy and the school’s current world study of Russia and Northern Europe, students produced individual and collaborative pieces in a wide range of media, including drawing, painting, mosaic, writing, scientific illustration, clay, and textiles.

Join us for a glass of wine and complimentary nibbles at the opening reception: 5-7 pm on Friday, March 13, 2020.

The exhibit will remain on display through Monday, April 6, open 9 am to 5 pm Thursday-Monday.
